The Information Security Leadership Academy (ISLA), which prepares candidates for critical roles in the IT security field such as an Information Security Officer, was in the midst of the planning process when our world suddenly shifted due to COVID-19. After much discussion from various state IT leaders, it was decided to offer the program in an online format with the program kicking off on July 30. Participants will be able to complete the academy without physically sitting in a classroom. As with all the academies, ISLA 2020 has been refreshed with new course offerings and includes a bootcamp and an opportunity for a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification. ISLA is accepting applications now through July 1. ISLA registration is open to public sector information security personnel (e.g. state, county, and city agencies), tech-savvy IT, and aspiring ISOs passionate about security. Ideal candidates are currently working in an IT security management position. Submit your application today and change your tomorrow!
