CDT’s IT Leadership Academy (ITLA) 2020 has proven to be a very unique cohort, to put it mildly. Due to COVID 19, ITLA ended its 27th cohort with classes offered remotely using video learning platforms. The Office of Professional Development worked hard to pivot and offer the several remaining classes online. We were not about to let the students wrap up the academy without a proper send off! The very first ITLA virtual graduation will take place on June 24, 2020.
ITLA is designed for IT professionals who wish to expand their leadership skills and business acumen. This year, ITLA had a class of 30 participants representing 23 government entities. ITLA participants attended classes in leadership, executive writing, business communications, and team building. As they honed their skills, students also learned about the legislative budget process, strategic planning and organizational change management.
Congratulations to the class of ITLA 27! Never have so few gone through so much in order to complete their IT Leadership Academy.
