September 27, 2023 – Registration is open for the California Department of Technology’s (CDT) Cybersecurity Boot Camp, a fully virtual training program aimed at preparing the government’s security workforce for the critical roles of Information Security Officer (ISO), Agency Information Security Officer (AISO), and/or an expanded role within their department or agency’s security office.
The program focuses on expanding IT security professionals’ knowledge and capability in a variety of areas that impact city, county, and state government.
The 2023 Cybersecurity Boot Camp will run from October 16 through November 8. In addition to critical learning modules focused on FIPS 199/200, Risk Management, Threat Intelligence, and being a Cyber First Responder, students will receive a virtual overview of the CDT’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and its associated governance, operations, and technology capabilities.
