September 27, 2023 – Hosted by Government Technology, The Best of California Awards honor state & local government and education organizations for their contributions to the state’s Information Technology systems and services. Agencies and individuals are invited to submit nominations for exceptional people and projects completed in the previous year for consideration across five service categories.
CDT’s Office of Digital Services is recognized this year with two projects earning prestigious winning nods. Under the category of Best Application Serving the Public, the State Department Website Emergency Alerts which provides agencies a way to broadcast vital emergency information across their websites in real time is honored.
The California State Web Template was also recognized as the Best Application Serving An Agency’s Business Needs. The State Web Template offers a range of user centered, accessible, easy-to-use design tools for government website developers to build digital services that meet the needs of Californians.
Winners were recognized at an awards ceremony at the conclusion of the eRepublic Government Innovation Summit on September 19, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Sacramento. Congratulations to the winners.
